Atchafalaya Homes, Inc. would like to thank you for purchasing your new home with us. If you could, please take a moment and read the following important service information:

Please contact Lynelle Marks, the Service Coordinator NOT your salesperson if you have service problems at the numbers listed above. If you do contact the salesperson service will not be done on your home. You MUST contact the Service Coordinator only.

1. Before your electrical power and water are turned on YOU, the homeowner are responsible for checking all pipe fittings to make sure they are tightened and that the hot water tank valve is shut off.

2. Electrical and plumbing emergencies, please turn off the water or electrical supply and contact us immediately! Do not let the water continur to run or use the electrical outlet or receptacle.

3. Any additional hook ups such as, but not exclusive to, dryer vents or ice makers are the responsibility of the homeowner.

4. Attached to this letter you will find a 30 day check list. Live in your home for 30 days, during this time use this check list to note any service issues that need attention. DO NOT send it in before the 30 days. If you send it in before the 30 days no action will be taken to fix your home . Please be specific when listing your needed repairs. Once your list is complete fax 337.896.0785 or mail your complete service list with a daytime contact phone number to the Service Department, C/O Lynelle Marks, Service Coordinator at 4478 N.E. Evangeline Thruway, Carencro, LA 70520. Once I recieve your service list, I will call you and go over the list and schedule a time for my service work so you may get a call from the manufacturer also. Once your list of repairs has been completed we will not return for any additional cosmetic repairs, you will be responsible for any maintenance related repairs to your home.

5. In your Warranty package that came with your home there will be a warranty card from the manufacturer of your home. Fill that out and return it to the manufacturer. This is the only way they know the house has been sold and eligible for warranty service.

6. When you are ready for your air conditioner to be connected or if you have any air related problems please call Andy Lavergne at Air Conditioning Services at 337.351.0435.
